The Address book is where you can search for all providers that have been added to OCULO. They will be optometrists or ophthalmologists. They will have an ‘OCULO Member’ badge clearly visible if they are an OCULO member. If they have a grey box around their name, they have been added manually. These non-OCULO member entries are in the directory so you can address your referral to the provider but they will not receive the referral via OCULO. You will need to print and fax / post to the provider.
By clicking on the ‘Add New’ button, it allows you to search our directory, and either add entries to your own address book, or create new entries for non OCULO members if they have not been added to OCULO. When you find the entry you are looking for, click on the green + in the top right corner of the entry, and this will add the provider to your address book. To remove an entry from your address book, click on the red - button in the top right hand corner.
If you cannot locate the provider you are searching for, click on the Create New button, and this will allow you to add the provider in yourself. There are mandatory fields marked with an asterisk.
